which has been implemented since 2009-10 by integrating it into the Jal Jeevan Mission . Under this initiative, the government is committed to providing “Har Ghar Nal Se Jal” (FHTC – Functional Household Tap Connection) to all rural households by 2024.
The primary objective of the Jal Jeevan Mission is to ensure a minimum supply of 55 liters per capita per day of quality drinking water through individual tap connections to every rural household by 2024.
Sangli district
a total of 683 projects worth ₹924.52 crore have been approved, out of which 363 projects. have been completed. The remaining projects are in progress and are planned to be completed by December 2025.
has a total of 4,59,048 households. out of which 4,01,570 households have already been provided with water supply through individual tap connections. The remaining 57,428 households are planned to receive 100% tap water connections by December 2025.
