Introduction
Integral Child Development Service Scheme District Room Sangli DistrictThere is a department in the council. To implement various programs and schemes related to Integrated Child Development Services Scheme, 13 projects are implemented through Sangli District Council in rural areas as per the guidelines of Central and State Government.
vision and objectives
To provide government referral services to children aged 0 to 6, pregnant women and lactating mothers in rural areas. Also providing pre-primary education to children aged 3 to 6, reducing maternal and child mortality rates, and providing nutritious food. Anganwadi: To reduce malnutrition among children aged 3 to 6, to bring about all-round development of children, to construct Anganwadi buildings.
objectives and tasks
Integrated Child Development Services Scheme has been started by the District Council Sangli Department through the Government for the empowerment of girls in the rural areas of Sangli District. “Lake Ladki Yojana” has been started by the State Government. Also, Anganwadi Sevika, Madatnis, Mini Sevika are given a lump sum LIC benefit after retirement, resignation, death or termination of service. Through Anganwadi workers and Madatnis, children in the age group of 3 to 6 years in rural areas are provided vaccination, health check-up, referral service, nutrition education and services. Funds for construction and renovation of building for new Anganwadi are provided through DPC, NABARD, recruitment process and transfer process are carried out through Integral Child Development Department.
