    Ramling Island

Ramling Island is formed in the Krishna River near Bahe, close to Borgav in Walva Taluka of Sangli district. It is about 10 km from Islampur. Amidst the serene flow of Krishna River, Dhanaji Patil and Manik Karande established the Balaji Boat Club with the help of their associates.

Near the massive bridge on the Krishna River at Ramling, one side has the ancient Ramling temple complex, while the other side has a vast, peaceful river expanse. The place is so enchanting that visitors are naturally drawn to boat rides in the tranquil waters of the Krishna River. With the availability of boating facilities here, there is no longer a need to travel to distant coastal areas for such an experience. The combination of calm river waters, lush greenery, the ancient Ramling Temple, and the boating facility makes it a perfect retreat from daily life.
