Rural Roads (3054) and Other District Roads (5054):

Under the District Planning Committee, funds are allocated to the District Council for rural road improvement under the 3054-2061 scheme and for the improvement and development of other district roads under the 5054-4308 scheme. The Chief Executive Officer of the District Council, Sangli, acts as the nodal officer for the utilization of these funds. The selection of roads is done in consultation with various local representatives. Based on the available funds, priority is given to road improvement projects. The estimates for these roads are prepared at the sub-divisional level and sent to the District Council for technical sanction. After review and sanction , the projects proceed through the tendering process. The Works department ensures that the funds are utilized effectively for high-quality road construction.

Construction and Repair of Primary School Classrooms:

The District Planning Committee provides funds to the District Council under the annual plan for school building construction and repairs. The estimates for these projects are prepared at the sub-divisional level and sent to the District Council for technical sanction . Once reviewed and approved, the projects proceed to the tendering process. The available funds are maximized to ensure high-quality construction of school buildings.

Construction and Repair of Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti Administrative Buildings:

Under this scheme, funds are allocated for the construction and repair of administrative buildings of the District Council and Panchayat Samiti. These projects are approved by the state government, and technical sanction is granted by the Works department.

Category-C Pilgrimage Site Development Program:

The District Planning Committee provides funds under the annual plan for construction and repair at pilgrimage sites included in the Category-C Pilgrimage Site Scheme. Estimates are prepared at the sub-divisional level and sent to the District Council for technical sanction . After review and sanction , the projects proceed through the tendering process. The funds are utilized efficiently to ensure high-quality construction work at pilgrimage sites.

Anganwadi Construction and Repairs:

The District Planning Committee provides funds under the annual plan for the construction and repair of Anganwadi centers. The District Planning Committee provides funds under the annual plan for the construction and repair of veterinary hospitals. Financial Assistance of Rs 15,000 is provided from the zp cess fund own revenue to patient suffering from critical illness (heart disease,kidney disease and all type of cancer) vertebral disease,Brain related surgeries etc
