Primary Education Department, Zilla Parishad, Sangli This Department, local self-government institutions, all schools from std 1st to 8th and private primary schools from std 1st to 8th, std total self-financed schools – 2,120 and in them total – 1,96,006 students and a total of 7,779 teachers to teach them. The education department would control all the schools. Recognizing schools, implementing quality initiatives from schools etc. While traveling for work or office. Also, school students are given benefits under various schemes. Under the Central Government, school nutrition (mid-day meal) and free uniforms and textbooks are provided to all the students under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan. All students get the scheme through district and taluka level supervisory system. Also, benefits of various scholarships are available, educational work is started systematically, financial investment is started systematically, these are controlled through supervisory system.

Introduction

SangliUnder the Zilla Parishad, special efforts are made to improve the quality of students along with physical facilities in the schools of local self-government institutions and for the expansion of schools of local self-government institutions. In the year 2023-2024, there are 159 students of std 5th and 20 students of std 8th of Zilla Parishad School who are eligible for scholarship. There are a total of 65 students in NMMS 8th std of Zilla Parishad school only in Tasgaon taluk. There are 46 students of Navodaya vidyalaya Zilla Parishad School, std 5th.
